Ballyshannon is all set to be entertained by some of its most talented local musicians and singers as the local Community Child care Group prepares to stage a musical extravaganza in Dorrian’s Hotel on Saturday, October 13.

The “Stars in your Eyes” talent competition is a talent show where the contestants get their opportunity to appear and sing live as a famous singer.

Tanya O’Shea said, “The show is most importantly a ‘soundalike’ show but all the acts are dressed up as close as possible to the singer or groups that they are impersonating often with wigs and a lot of heavy make-up , so much so that many will be unrecognisable!

“It promises to be a great nights entertainment and fun. The event will take place in Dorrian’s Hotel in Ballyshannon on Saturday, 13. October with TV3’s Noel Cunnigham acting as host and the ever popular Rockhill Ramblers providing the entertainment afterwards.” Tickets are on sale at the Saimer Childcare Centre, Dorrian’s Hotel, Pearse O’Neill’s and Brian Campbell’s Butchers.
