Ray Community Centre: The Ray Community Centre will be open Mondays from 9.30am-5.30pm, and Tuesday to Fridays from 9.30am-1.30pm. For further information please contact Anne Friel, administrator on 0864519656.

St. Bridget Cross Making: Will take place in the community centre on Thursday 31st January at 7.00pm. The traditional “poundies” will be served on the night. Everyone welcome.

New Toning class: Step into Spring fitter & toned up! New Toning Class beginning next Tuesday eve Feb 5th from 8.15pm -9.15PM. Benefits include increased fitness levels, improved muscle tone, core strengthening & increased flexibility.

Car Boot Sale: Will be held on Sunday February 10th (Not Sun 3rd as previously advertised) from 2-5pm. Please contact the centre on 086 4519656 to pre-book your table.

Bag Packing: Our annual fundraising ‘Bag Packing’ will take place in Tesco Letterkenny the weekend of 9th and 10th March 2013. If anyone is interested in helping out for a few hours on either day please contact the centre.

After School Club: Thanks to all the parents who put their names forward for helping out at the After School Club. Next Monday 4th Feb, a qualified dance teacher will be coming to the centre at 3.30pm to do a demonstration with the kids on hiphop/dance, with view to starting classes for children aged 4-12. Feel free to come along if your children are interested in dance.

Take Your Pick: The jackpot for Sunday 3rd February will be €325. Winners last Sunday night were: Antoinette McFadden, Tori Lisa McFadden and John T. Sheridan.Thanks to everyone who takes part.

AGM: Our Annual General Meeting meeting will take place on Wednesday 20th February 2013 at 7.30pm. We are always interested in hearing from new members with fresh ideas for the community.

Community Alert: We would like to hear from people in the area who would be interested in setting up a “Community Alert Group” in the Ray and surrounding areas. So far this year there has been up to twenty burglaries in the County with the elderly most targetted. If you would like to join this group, please contact the centre.
