Leghowney Foroige Club hosted a St Bridget’s Cross making evening last Friday, January 27 in Leghowney Community Hall.

It was a great opportunity for the older members of the community to share their skills in making the old traditional cross from rushes. The organisers were delighted with the turnout of both young and the more senior enthusiasts that turned up. The rushes were picked locally and a lovely evening was had by all.
