Healing and Renewal Retreat

A Healing and Renewal Retreat will take place at Ards Friary from Friday, July 20th to Sunday, July 22nd. It is an opportunity to be healed from wounds. The retreat is given by John Pridmore and St. Patrick’s Community. You are invited to experience a more personal relationship with God.

Church of the Irish Martyrs

A bin is provided in the main porch for used stamps. Please allow at least 1/4 of inch of paper around the used stamp. These, in a big way, help in fundraising for the Missions.

Mary’s Meals

Mary’s Meals are appealing for your old backpacks (in good condition) and also any of the following items: copies, notebooks, pencils, pens, crayons, erasers, rulers, sharpeners, pencil cases, towels, shorts, skirts, t-shirts, dresses, flip-flops, sandals, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, spoons, small ball e.g. tennis ball etc. Many of the families of the children we support cannot afford to buy these basic items to enable their child to go to school.

Your support can help to break the cycle of poverty in countries like Malawi and Liberia by providing children with an education and a meal every day. Backpacks and any donated items can be left at the Cathedral Parochial House, Letterkenny.

St. Eunan’s GAA Club

The Seniors, Reserves and Juniors games scheduled against St. Michael’s last week were all cancelled due to a bereavement. The Senior and Reserve games have been rescheduled for this Friday evening (June 29th) at 6.30pm and 8pm respectively. All three teams will face Glenswilly this Sunday, with the Seniors and Reserves at home at 1.30pm and 3pm and the Juniors making the short trip to the Glen for a 6.30pm throw-in.

Hard luck to the U-14 boys who were narrowly beaten by New York in the All-Ireland Div. 2 Féile semi-final in Laois / Offaly over the weekend. They have two games this week, taking on MacCumhaills on Monday night and then Cloughaneely on Wednesday. The Div. 2 team have their last game against Burt this week.

The U-16 Boys footballers began their Championship on Monday with a home game against Burt in the Northern quarter-final. The U-14 Girls footballers are also in action tonight (Tuesday) against Naomh Conaill in Convoy in their Co. semi-final.

The U-12 Girls footballers make the short trip to the Gaels for a blitz this week.

Bookings for our summer Camps are now been taken. Contact Paul McGovern (086-8114151) for bookings or more details, or check out the club website and download a booking form.
