Laghey Christmas Lights and Party postponed

Due to a bereavement in the community, the date for the switching on of the Christmas lights in Laghey has now been changed to Friday, December 14 at 7pm.

Our local football star David Walsh will perform the switch.

It will be followed directly by the Children’s Christmas Party in Laghey Parish Hall.

Santa will arrive in his specially modified sleigh, led by a piper and accompanied by Snowy, Rudolf and friends as well as all the children anxious to make his acquaintance.

He will make his way to the hall where he will hand out a present to every child. There will be a disco and games and a cup of tea for all the mums, dads, grannies and granddads. All are welcome.
