Carl On Crest Of Wave: Heartiest congrats are extended to Carl McHugh and Bradford City on winning their way through to the League Cup Final against Swansea City in Wembley. At only 19 years of age this is surely a dream come true for the young Leitir man. It will be a very proud occasion for Carl himself, his parents, Mary and Gerry, former Na Rossa stalwart and all the family, as well as for his grandparents, Con and Sheila (Cissy). I wonder will Con head across for the Final!

Late Margaret McGlaughlan: The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was offered up by An t-Athair Nigel O Gallachoir, S.C., in St Crona’s Church on Thursday last for the happy repose of the soul of the late Margaret McGlaughlan, late of Brockagh and Glasgow. The deepest, heartfelt sympathy of the whole community is extended to all of the bereaved. May her gentle soul rest in peace.

Church of Ireland Dance: Church of Ireland, Lettermacaward are having a fundraising Dance in Elliotts’ Lounge on Sat., 9th Feb., starting at 9 p.m. Come along for a night of good music, and craic, with family, neighbours and friends.

St Crona’s Church: Confessions before 10am Mass. This Fri., 1st Feb., is the First Friday of the month. The sick and housebound will be visited (weather permitting). Mass at 10am.

Saturday, Feb. 2nd is Candlemas Day. Candles will be blessed at both the 10am and 7.30pm Masses.

Sunday is the Feast Day of St Blaise. Blessing of throats at all the Weekend Masses.

Rosses CDP: The Rosses CDP are hoping to start a new class called the BOKWA. It’s a new Group Fitness Programme for all ages, children and adults welcome. Bokwa participants draw letters and numbers with their feet while performing an energizing and addictive cardio workout routine. Moving together to today’s most popular music, No counting steps .. no difficult choreography
