Philomena Mc Gowan : Acknowledgement

MC GOWAN Philomena We, the family of the late Philomena Mc Gowan wish to thank most sincerely all who symapthised with us in our recent bereavement. We express our gratitude to all who attended the wake and funeral, especially those who travelled long distances, to those who sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards, phonecalls, letters, floral tributes and donations in lieu of flowers. Thanks to our relatives, friends, neighbours and to everyone who helped in any way. A special word of thanks to Very Rev Kieran Mc Ateer P.P. and Rev Ciaran Harkin CC for their spiritual care and prayerful support to Philomena in her home and in St Joseph's hospital throughout her illness. Thanks to Father Mc Ateer for celebrating the funeral Mass and to Father Harkin who officiated at the graveside. Thanks also to those who provided the music, shared the readings, prayers of the faithful, presentation of the gifts, Eucharistic ministers, altar servers and sacristan. We very much appreciate the care and support of the doctor, nurses and staff Primary Care Centre, Stranorlar. Special thanks to Dr Keegan, Dr Sweeney, public health nurses, palliative care nurse and the home care support team. Sincere thanks to the dedicated staff of Woodville Ward, St Josephs hospital who assisted Philomena in every way with such wonderful care and attention. Thanks also to the staff of Letterkenny General Hospital, especially the staff in the haematology/oncology units and also to the chaplains of the hospital. We thank Gerard and Gary Mc Cool Funeral Directors for the professional manner in which they carried out all the funeral arrangements. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope that this acknowledgement wlil be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation. Philomenas month mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 7th June in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar at 7.30pm
