JOHNSON Alan Alan's family wish to express our deepest gratitude for all the support, generosity and kindness shown so willingly by so many during their bereavement. Sincere thanks to all who attened the removal, wake and funeral. Those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters and texts and for the donations to North West Cancer and the Donegal Hospice. To our extended family and wonderful neighbours for setting aside their everyday lives and occupations in their unceasing dedication in caring for Alan during his stay in the hospice. To all who assisted at the wake, those who provided food and accommodation, we thank you. A very special thank you to Dr. Delap and his staff, to all in McElwee's Pharmacy, Dungloe, the staff of the Oncology Day Unit in Letterkenny Hospital, St. Luke's Hospital, St. James's Hospital, the palliative home care nurse Mary Collins and each and every person in the Donegal Hospice for their devoted care. Sincere thanks to Canon Stewart Wright for his frequent visits to the hospice and his prayers. To the Rev. Tommy Allen and Fr. Pat Ward for their visits, their prayers in our home and for the uplifting ecumenical funeral service. To our dear friends Deirdre O'Donnell, Geraldine Foley and Ian Smith for the beautiful music. We are extremely grateful to Shaun McGlynn for his expert professional help and guidance and to the gravediggers and the Viking House Hotel.To all concerned, we are forever grateful Alan's month's mind Mass at 11 am Sunday,February 26th in St. Columba's Burtonport.
