Sir,

The hankies are out for Fianna Fáil Councillor Joe Kelly after he put his election posters up in English throughout the constituency. What did he expect when the phone lines became jammed on Ronan Beo on RnG with complaints relating to this major blunder?
One thing he has proven, when he did come on live with an explaination, is that he is not made of the same slippery stuff as his mentor.

Joe's excuse that he didn't have enough money to make a few up 'as Gaeilge' rang hollow. Since when did Fiann
a Fáil councillors have to pay their own election expenses?.

Although important, this should not be allowed to distract from issues that you as the voter should question Joe or any other Fianna Fáil representative on when he comes to your door looking for a vote (watch out for plastic smile).

Pat the Cope has made his intension clear, he is intent on getting the train for Brussels one more time.

If you study his last posting to Europe we gained nothing from it. His next position, which was disastrous, saw him oversee the decimation of the Irish fishing fleet. He then shifted the blame by moving to the Department of Transport in order to escape the wrath of the once powerful fishing fraternity.

This is why you must seek credible answers when they come knocking on your door. I'm sure all Fianna Fail candidates will be more than willing to provide a simple enough explanation without getting tongue-tied in the process.

Yours,
J. Woods,
Gort an choirce.
